How to make money from YouTube shorts in Pakistan, a step by step guide.

Making money online is one of the best ways to generate passive income, but not all methods are created equal. YouTube, like Google AdSense, has made it easy to earn money if you have the content and skills to back it up, but there’s one issue; you need videos in order to be successful! If you want to start monetizing your content, but don’t know where to start or are worried about your production value, then this step by step guide will show you how to make money from YouTube shorts.

Making money on YouTube isn’t as easy as you might think...

If you want to make money online, or have plans of doing so in the future – you’ve probably heard of making videos on YouTube and getting paid for it. Although that might seem simple enough...it isn’t! Yes, it may look like all you need is some camera equipment, a stable internet connection and boom – thousands of views and ad revenue coming in day after day! Sounds easy enough right? It isn’t though! Just as there are tons of make money fast scams...there are tons of ways for newbie video makers (even those with great content) to get discouraged out there too.

First Things First: Why Do I Want To Make Money From My Channel?

Having a quality channel and consistent uploads is important for building your fan base. Don’t be afraid to get out there and start shooting content for your channel, whether it be just talking about something you’re passionate about or doing some of what you love! Video Marketing is one of those things that can truly change how people think and feel about your business if done correctly so don’t hold back and have fun with it! You have nothing to lose! We all like entertainment... that's why we're on youtube in the first place right?

Build an Audience

Getting people to watch your videos starts with getting them interested in you and your ideas. Start sharing snippets of your video-in-progress on Twitter or Facebook—the more interest and awareness you can build, especially among other content creators/hobbyists, the easier it will be for you to get views (and subscribers). The most likely scenario is that people won’t subscribe right away: They might watch your first few videos and then forget about you... Until something catches their attention—it could be a new video or an interesting tweet or an announcement of something new like an online class—and they remember who you are and decide they want more info.

Produce Consistent Content

Consistency is key on YouTube. If you’re going to commit hours of your time (at least), it’s important that you create something relevant and valuable for your audience and stick with it over time. Consistency earns your audience's trust, which results in loyalty and long-term engagement (i.e., someone coming back to view more videos). But consistency also keeps new viewers coming back because they’ll feel like there are new things being added all of the time. If you want someone to return regularly for new content, then don't abandon your channel after just one video—stick with it!

Work Out What Your Target Audience Wants To See

Before you put pen to paper (or fingers to keyboard), you should know exactly who you’re creating your video for and what they want. As long as it falls within what your channel is about, it’s all good – viewers are unlikely to complain that you haven’t made something directly related to their interests! Determine your video title: A good rule of thumb is that videos with titles between 25-40 characters are best - anything above or below and people might struggle with reading them on smaller mobile devices. Work out how much time you have to create your video:

If you have a lot of time then think about whether you can create multiple parts to your series. This way if one section doesn’t go down well, at least there will be other sections which could pick up views instead. Work out where you can get footage from: The easiest way is if someone else has already created some relevant content which matches what yours will be like. For example, if I was making an ‘ultimate guide’ type video I would find an existing ultimate guide video and use that footage in my own version. It saves so much time having things already done for you!

Decide Whether You Want To Go Ad Free Or Monetize Directly

This is probably going to be your first step and you should set up a landing page on your website or if you don’t have one create one. A landing page is essentially a webpage that isn’t directly related to your channel but it contains links back to it which makes it easier for users / subscribers who already know of you and want more videos to click through and get directly onto your channel without being confused of where they actually landed.

When creating a landing page I would recommend using WordPress as it has great templates and plugins that can help with SEO (search engine optimization) so when people search for something relevant to your video topic they will find you easily. I would also recommend having some kind of contact form so people can ask questions or request different types of videos. Also remember not to just focus on monetizing because most people won’t do that straight away, there are plenty of other things you can do with your channel in order to build an audience before trying to monetize such as doing collabs with other YouTubers similar in content etc.

Check Out The Competition & Model Yourself After Them

When you’re first starting out on any platform, it’s always important to check out what else is out there and how other channels are performing. Once you’ve done that, determine if your video needs will differ significantly from those of your peers (and competitors). If so, develop a plan for how you want your channel to stand apart from theirs. Keeping notes and references handy can help keep you focused while also ensuring that you’re capitalizing on all possible opportunities.

Find The Right Niche For You

Making money with your videos doesn’t mean you have to upload every video you produce for free on YouTube and other sites. Instead, use your creativity and find ways to make sure people are willing to pay for what you offer. Can you package together multiple videos into one special offer? Could you create how-to videos that showcase your talent or provide useful advice? Are there industry leaders who might want customized content or help promoting their business? Once you’ve found a niche that interests you, set up an account on Fiverr and start marketing yourself as an expert in that area—you could even get business leads (and potentially more) based on your niche!

Get the Right Equipment & Software For Recording & Editing Videos

With so many video-making tools on offer these days, it can be hard to know where to start your journey as a creator. The good news is that there are some excellent free and low-cost (or even free) solutions out there that can provide decent results without too much technical expertise. Depending on your level of commitment you may find it helpful to pick up a dedicated editing tool such as Sony Vegas or Final Cut Pro X; both offer powerful toolsets in an accessible manner with enough scope for most needs but they will set you back $349 and $299 respectively.

Set Up A Website / Landing Page To Drive Traffic Back To Your Channel

There are two paths you can take with your channel – either go it alone and create fun content that reflects your personality and passions or create videos on behalf of brands in exchange for compensation (think: free product samples). The latter is more viable if you’re just starting out since you don’t have as many subscribers yet – with enough subscribers and traffic, companies will pay you to promote their products in your videos without being obvious about it. You can start building up your audience on Twitch or YouTube (more on these below) and then decide what kind of content you want to create as your brand grows even further. Of course, there are pros and cons to each – it’s up to you to figure out what works best for you!

Market Yourself in Other Ways (Online & Offline)

There are tons of ways to market yourself online and off! I’m not just talking about social media, either—many of these methods have built-in ways for you to track your sales and revenue (like with PayPal). So first things first: Make sure you have an awesome product that people will buy! The easiest way to do that is follow what people who have done it before you say about pricing your product or service, so that part’s taken care of for you.
